Newsletter Management Systems

No it’s not always SPAM :)

Direct Marketing is a great way to communicate with all your clients, provided that your clients have requested the communication, and it is not unsolicited, or a stolen database. Sightings are a member of Spamcop.net and as such are obliged to report all offences it discovers. This is our small contribution to our industry where the world cost of SPAM is estimated to be over $10 billion a year.

That said we only accept clients for this service on condition that their data is accurate, solicited and non-intrusive. Sightings has two main options with regards to Newsletter Systems:

Unmanaged and Dedicated

The first being your own application that is installed to run parallel to your website, which you manage and send out mass emails to your clients. We also install a form on your website that allows new subscriptions to your newsletter to be directly imputed into your Database.

The advantages of this option are that you can have multiple lists and send out mails as often as your time allows. You have complete control over the management of your database and your subscribers. Sightings will set-up your system, design your templates and train your staff to manage your direct marketing campaigns.

We will teach you to analyse your reports for bounces and the amount of users who chose to unsubscribed allowing you to adapt your content to achieve optimal readership.

Managed and Shared

This option is normally more popular, since the time it requires is minimal on the part of the client. Sightings will manage the database lists, review the reporting and give the client feedback on a regular basis to ensure that the campaigns are running at optimal performance.

Sightings will design your templates and for a small management fee either once off or on a maintenance package do the mail outs on your behalf giving you the time to focus on your content.
