Sightings have a successful reseller program which is available to almost anyone, on two models. The first being a referral partner and the second being a Value added Partner.

The Referral Partner (RP)

A Sightings Referral Partner can be anyone who has seen our work, worked with us, is a client or has been a client. You simply give us the referral we will handle the client, do the work and pay you a commission on completion of the project.

We found that a good majority of our business still comes from “word of mouth”, and we like that, we want to encourage and reward it as much as possible. One of the main reason Sightings is successful is because of the support given to us by family, friends, colleagues and clients. If you know someone who knows someone who can make use of our services, please contact us and we will do the rest.

The Value Added Partner (VAP)

A Sightings Value Added Partner is more specialized and is required to apply and qualify before being able to partner with Sightings. In essence a Value Added Partner outsourcers work to Sightings but remains in charge of the client, the communications, billing etc. The client remains that of the VAP and deals only with the VAP. Sightings keep all VAP credentials confidential at all times.

The VAP will earn a higher commission and is based on a sliding scale dependant on performance. A VAP is usually:

• A Web Design company with an overflow or a specific skill set requirement
• An Advertising Agency or Marketing firm
• IT Company, IT retail chain or Hosting company
• Printing Company
• Freelancers

Why become a VAP, what’s in it for me?

Becoming a Sightings VAP means you are assured that your clients brief will be done professionally, meaning you don’t have to risk your Brand or good company reputation on a “fly by night” and you will make a competitive margin.

Secondly there are no contracts; only a basic agreement is signed outline the process, restrictions and business ethics we expect our VAP’s to adhere to. So you are free to shop around, should our quote not fit your clients budget, but talk to us first we are always willing to negotiate with our VAP’s, since we believe in building long term and sustainable partnerships.

As a Sightings VAP you will also receive a complete VAP Pack, with detailed descriptions, price lists and of course valuable advise on how to sell websites from our experience. We also hold monthly talks for VAP’s to keep them updated with what Sightings and the industry in general is doing, so that you can stay ahead of the trends.
